Les discussions des adultes portent sur tous les probl\u00e8mes de la communaut\u00e9, qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de r\u00e9gler des querelles ou de d\u00e9lib\u00e9rer collectivement. Les chemins trac\u00e9s sur le sol sont ceux qu\u2019empruntent quotidiennement les habitants et leur b\u00e9tail, notamment pour acc\u00e9der au puits ou collecter du bois. Ce village traditionnel de l\u2019ancien royaume du Baguirmi, dans le d\u00e9partement du Chari-Baguirmi, pr\u00e8s de la capitale N\u2019Djamena, poss\u00e8de un plan circulaire. Les cases, rondes ou rectangulaires, ont des toits recouverts de chaume ou construits en terrasses. Les habitations disposent d\u2019enclos qui abritent un \u00e9levage de case (poules, moutons et ch\u00e8vres). L\u2019espace est organis\u00e9 et structur\u00e9 autour d\u2019une activit\u00e9 pastorale plut\u00f4t qu\u2019agricole car les pluies sont insuffisantes pour que l\u2019agriculture pluviale s\u2019y
